This year’s Motor Transport Awards were staged online after a couple of postponements of the live event in London. We were finalists in the Customer Care Award section.
Ahead of the evening, we had our own little celebration at Hurricane Park starting off with a fish and chip van arriving to provide lunch for all our staff. Everyone loved it and he left without a single portion in the fryer!!
After our lunch we had three prizes to give away. The star prize was £500 cash for the person who guessed closest to how many years service our staff had in total. The winner was Hayley Horton!! We also had 2 smaller competitions on offer.
We lost out to DPD with the award, but it was still an honour to have been recognised and shortlisted and of course, there’s always next year when the ceremony and glittering atmosphere may well return. The online event was very well organised.
