We are delighted to share that Paul Ponsonby Limited have been involved in the Commonwealth Games 2022 from the initial planning stage right through to delivery and set up as we have provided all the transport and warehousing for security scanners throughout the games estate.
Today is “Tongue Out Tuesday” and we would like to introduce to you the new member of team Ponsonby….. Our Trevor.
Trevor is a 4-year-old chihuahua who has started his apprenticeship with us recently however from what we have seen so far Trev doesn’t do much work, especially not in the mornings until he has had his belly rubbed multiple times.
This week , for the first time on record saw temperatures in the UK exceed 40°C.
The Met Office issued its first ever red weather warning for extreme heat, and I think everyone in the UK felt the stifling temperatures.
We have recently been involved with and supported Combat Stress , the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health.
It’s a charity that is close to our hearts.
Quite possibly the furthest delivery ever carried out by Paul Ponsonby Limited
Measuring in at roughly 2359 miles from our base in Birmingham, driver Steve is currently having a lovely time on the isle of Gran Canaria.
A warm welcome awaits on our stand whether you are back to shaking hands, or a more comfortable with an ‘elbow bump’. We’ll get the kettle on, and have the biscuit tin at the ready for a ‘good ol’ in person meet!
We have recently invested in an ecommerce and fulfilment software called Mintsoft. Access Mintsoft has over 60 marketplaces, 80 direct courier and numerous multi-courier integrations, helping us manage the entire order process and ensure that we have accurate visibility of stock levels across multiple marketplaces.
By partnering with AquaAid in this initiative, we have helped build a safe water resource capable of producing up to 10,000 litres of potable water per day, to upwards of 300 people within the community, who are now able to collect clean drinking water and water for productive use every day.
